Mark Mancari
Mancari was drafted 207th overall by the BuffaloSabres in the 2004 NHL Draft. While he has been
called up to the Sabres several times throughouthis career he is currently playing with the Portland Pirates. Mancari is credited with the hardest-shot
record in the AHL, with a speed of 102.8 mph during the 2008 AHL All-Star Classic Skills Competition.

Nathan Gerbe
Gerbe played college hockey for the BostonCollege Eagles where he made quite animpression by notching 68 points in 43 games
during his last year. On May 6, 2008, Nathan signed a three-year , $2.55 million dollar contract with the Buffalo Sabres. He is currently playing with the Portland Pirates, while occasionally being recalled to the Sabres.

Andrew Ebbett
In 2007, Andrew was signed by the Anaheim
Ducks and later assigned to the Portland Pirates, where he excelled by scoring 72 points in 74 games. In 2008, he was recalled and played 48 games with the Ducks.
Currently, Ebbett is playing for the MinnesotaWild.

Bobby Ryan
Ryan was drafted as the second overall pick by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2005 NHL Draft. When the Ducks were
eliminated in the playoffs during the 2006-07 season, Bobby was sent down to the Portland Pirates, where he posted 49 points in 48 games. After that season, he was recalled back up to Anaheim, where he is currently playing.

Brian Salcido
Salcido attended Colorado College, where he was a member of the varsity ice hockey squad. In the 2005 NHL Draft, he was
picked in the fifth round, 141st overall. In 2006, Brian signed a three-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks, and was
assigned to the Portland Pirates. In Feburary 2009, Salcido made his NHL debut with the Ducks. Currently, he is
playing for the Manitoba Moose.

Joe Motzko
Motzko went undrafted and was
eventually signed by the Colombus Blue Jackets in 2003. During the 2006-2007 season, Joe was traded to the Anaheim
Ducks and was promptly assigned to the Portland Pirates. He appeared in 3 postseason
games during the 2007 season with the Stanley Cup winning Ducks. Since then he has been traded to the
Washington Capitals and Atlanta Thrashers. Currently, Motzko is playing with the Russian team HC MVD of the
Kontinental Hockey League.

Ryan Shannon
In 2005, Shannon was signed as a free agent by the Anaheim Ducks and was
assigned to the Portland Pirates. In 2007,
he played 11 playoff games for the Ducks,
but was traded at the end of the year tothe Vancouver Canucks. A year later,
Ryan was traded to the Ottawa Senators,
where he played both with the Binghamton Senators and the Ottawa Senators. In 2009, Shannon was named to Team USA for the 2009 World
Championships in Switzerland.
