Welcome Reception

Reaching out into Casco Bay and welcoming newcomers to Portland, Ocean Gateway is the City’s newest waterfront jewel. The spectacular setting of islands and water enhance the beauty of the architecture which was designed to resemble the prow of a ship. While primarily a receiving terminal for incoming ships, Ocean Gateway is also available as an event space for anything from small concerts to auctions and parties.

Directions

From Northern Maine:
Take Interstate 295 into Portland. Use exit 7 from 295 onto Franklin Arterial. Continue on Franklin Arterial until it ends at Commercial Street.  Turn Left at Commercial Street. Drive approximately 1/8 of a mile and Ocean Gateway will be on your right.

From Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Southern Maine:
Take Interstate 95 into Maine. Use exit 44 from 95 onto Interstate 295. Use exit 7 from 295 onto Franklin Arterial. Continue on Franklin Arterial until it ends at Commercial Street.  Turn Left at Commercial Street. Drive approximately 1/8 of a mile and Ocean Gateway will be on your right.

From Northern New Hampshire and Western Maine:
Take Route 302 into Portland. Once in Portland, Route 302 turns into Forest Avenue. Continue on Forest Avenue until it ends at the intersection with Congress St. Take a left onto Congress St. and continue until you intersect with Franklin Arterial.  Take a right onto Franklin Arterial.  Proceed down Franklin Arterial until it ends at Commercial Street.  Turn Left at Commercial Street. Drive approximately 1/8 of a mile and Ocean Gateway will be on your right.

2010 AHL Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony, presented by Portland Press Herald

Merrill Auditorium is a 1,900-seat auditorium. Originally known as Portland City Hall Auditorium, it is located in the eastern section of Portland City Hall. Organizations such as PCA Great Performances and the Portland Symphony Orchestra use the auditorium as a primary performance space.  The auditorium was built in 1911 and underwent renovation in 1997. It features a large pipe organ, the Hermann Kotzschmar Memorial Organ, donated by Cyrus Curtis.

Directions

From I-295 in Maine:
Take exit 7 (Franklin Street).  Once on Franklin Street, go to the fourth traffic light and turn right onto Congress Street.  Parking is available for a nominal fee at "Central Parking Services" on the corner of Congress and Pearl Streets (this lot offers some accessible parking spaces) and at the "Top of the Old Port" on Pearl Street (your 1st right off of Congress).  Merrill Auditorium/City Hall is one block from the parking lots on Myrtle Street.  The entrance to Merrill Auditorium is about one fourth the way down Myrtle Street, on the left side.

From Northern New Hampshire and Western Maine:
Take US-302 into Portland. US-302 turns into Forest Avenue
Continue on Forest Avenue until it ends at the intersection with Congress Street
Turn left onto Congress Street and continue until you see City Hall on the left side of the street. Turn left onto Myrtle Street immediately after City Hall
