
The Portland Pirates have committed to support the Bruce Roberts Toy Fund during the 2010-11 season. The Pirates invite fans to bring a cash donation to the game on November 20th against the Worcester Sharks. In return, the Pirates will will reward each person with two free ticket to a future Pirates game (all amounts will gladly be accepted but there is a minimum $5 donation to receive free tickets).
Donations will also be accepted at Pirates games on November 26th against Springfield, December 7th against Worcester and December 18th against Manchester.

Toys collected during the drive will be distributed among Toys for Tots, WGME's Joy of Sharing and Operation Tribute.
The Bruce Roberts Toy Fund assists children from birth through age 18 in Cumberland, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, and York counties during the holiday season. Parents and legal guardians of children 18 and under can apply, beginning mid-October at The Welcome Center, Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram, and through local service organizations or call to have an application sent by mail.
