4:00 PM EST
Lewiston, ME – The Portland Pirates will finish their home and home series with the Hartford Wolf Pack today at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee. Puck drop is 4 PM for the final matchup between the two teams this season. Hartford has won 4 of 5 meetings so far.
The Pirates and Wolf Pack met in Hartford last night, with the Wolf Pack taking a 4-2 win. The Pirates allowed three goals in the first, but got goals from Jordan Martinook and Andy Miele to bring the game within 1. The comeback would fall short, as Arron Asham netted an empty net goal with less than a minute to seal the win for the Wolf Pack. Mark Visentin was a bright spot for the Pirates, making 16 saves in relief of Louis Domingue, who left the game in the first with an injury.
The Pirates and Wolf Pack last played at the Colisee on Tuesday, a 4-3 win for Hartford. The Pirates' lone win was at Hartford on October 23rd, when the Pirates defeated the Wolf Pack 4-2 at the XL Center by scoring 3 power play goals.
