UNUM Challenge

The UNUM Challenge between the Portland Pirates and the Worcester Sharks takes place throughout the regular season series during the 2009-10 season. At each game in each city, one lucky fan is chosen from the submitted entrees as the UNUM Challenge Fan of the Game. Each fan wins a replica jersey and receives five (5) tickets to a future game. Labatt Blue Light Hockey Night in Portland

All hands on deck for Treasure Chest Night. Salty Pete’s final Treasure Chest of the season will be located in the main lobby filled with over $500 worth of prizes from the Portland Pirates and participating sponsors. This will include Funtown Combination Passes, Downeaster train tickets, Dunkin Donuts and Sun Tan City gift certificates. Also, in the Treasure Chest will be prize packages from United Insurance, AHL LIVE, an All-Star prize package, and plenty of Portland Pirates swag!!

The 2010 Girl Scout Sleepover will feature a private postgame skate for Girl Scouts, a movie on the center ice videoboard, and a sleepover in the arena. The Portland Pirates Foundation will be holding the 2010 Evening with the Pirates, presented by Irving Oil on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the Holiday Inn by the Bay.

Join your favorite member of the Pirtaes for a fun-filled, booty shaking night. The 2010 Evening with the Pirates, presented by Irving Oil, will feature Maine's premiere disco band, Motor Booty Affair. Motor Booty Affair so put on your best platform Pirate garb and get ready to shake your Pirate Booty! Along with the great entertainment, we will be raising funds for Gary's House as well as other local charities through a silent auction.
