During the first intermission of the Pirates win over the Worcester Sharks on Friday, January 21st at the Cumberland County Civic Center, Unum, in partnership with the Maine Coalition for Excellence in Education, recognized six teachers and three school administrators who have made a difference in the lives of students in Maine's public schools and who represent excellence in the educational profession and inducted them into the Unum Educator's Hall of Fame.
The nine individuals inducted were nominated and selected through Unum's fifth Annual Maine Educators' Hall of Fame, supported by the Pirates.
