Pirates offer discounted tickets to youth hockey groups of fifteen (15) or more.
A team outing with the Pirates can be both entertaining and educational. Watch
closely as the Pirates display the fundamentals of hockey at a world class level!

| Amato's Future Stars Program |
Amato's Future Stars Intermission Games
The Portland Pirates and Amato's are proud to offer youth
hockey teams the opportunity to skate during the 1st Intermission
of a Pirates home game during the 2008-2009 season. This is a great
opportunity for friends and family to cheer on their favorite youth
hockey player as they take the ice in front of thousands of fans at
a Pirates game. A true
thrill for the kid in all of us!
- 5-minute game on-ice during an intermission of a Pirates home game
- Each team must purchase a minimum of 50 Main or Quarter Deck game tickets at $10 each
(a savings of up to $7 per ticket)
- Everyone in your group will be seated together
- Teams will receive videoboard recognition during the game
- Each player will receive a Pirates locker room tour and a free Pirates/Amato's Future Stars Official T-shirt
- Amato's Future Stars Intermission Games are available to any youth hockey teams statewide
- Players will be given the chance to welcome the Pirates onto the ice at the start of
the game in the Player Tunnel (see photo below)

Amato's Future Stars Pre-Game Program
The Portland Pirates and Amato's are once again offering youth hockey teams the
opportunity to play for a full fifty (50) minutes prior to a Pirates home
game during the 2008-2009 season. Use of the ice is at the discretion of the group (i.e. open skate,
organized game, etc.). If a game is to be played, the group is responsible for supplying all necessary
equipment (i.e. pucks, sticks, etc.), a timekeeper, any necessary officials, etc.
- Minimum purchase requirement of 50 Main or Quarter Deck game tickets at $10 each
(a savings of up to $7 per ticket)
- Fifty (50) minutes of ice will be provided two (2) hours prior to the scheduled Pirates game
- Everyone in your group will be seated together
- Teams will receive videoboard recognition during the game
- Each youth hockey player will receive a free Pirates/Amato's Future Stars Official T-shirt
- Players will be given the chance to welcome the Pirates onto the ice at the start of
the game in the Player Tunnel (if no intermission game booked)
- Pre-games are booked on a first-come, first-served, space available basis

| Youth Hockey Clinics & Instructional Programs |
Youth Hockey Clinics presented by Country Kitchen
The Portland Pirates, in conjunction with Country Kitchen,
will be offering three (3) FREE clinics at the Civic Center for area youth hockey players starting in
December. Pirates players and coaches will coordinate each clinic and work with
players on particular skills/drills, culminating with an autograph session with
the kids.
- Available to boys and girls ages 12 & under on a first-come, first-served basis
- Maximum of 40 kids per clinic
- A Pirates Locker Room tour and a FREE Country Kitchen Youth Hockey Clinic
souvenir puck to each skater
- Group photo to be mailed to all participants

Instructional Program presented by Country Kitchen
Have a few Pirates players assist you on the ice at one of your
practices. The Pirates will come to your venue and join you in teaching your players the
tricks of the trade!
- Available to youth hockey association or middle school team (ages 12 & under) within 30 miles of downtown Portland.
Interest from beyond this 30 mile radius will be given consideration based upon team travel,
practice, schedule, arena location, etc.
- Twelve (12) appearances available for booking between October and February – specific
date availability is subject to team travel and practice times
- While there is no limit on the number of appearances per Association, the Pirates reserve
the right to give each Association equal opportunity to host an instructional appearance
- Each participant to receive a Pirates/Country Kitchen Youth Hockey souvenir puck and
participate in a post-practice autograph session
